Dekel Agri-Vision (AIM:DKL) lifted crude palm oil (CPO) production 7.3% to 22,676 tonnes in the first half of 2026, while its cashew processing operation more than doubled sales volumes, the AIM-listed company said in its half-year production update.

The West Africa-focused agriculture company attributed the CPO gain to an 11.5% rise in fresh fruit bunches (FFB) processed at its Ayenouan mill in Côte d'Ivoire, with particularly strong performances in April and May.

CPO sales volumes rose 5.0% to 22,225 tonnes, with nearly all output sold into a robust local market, though the average sales price slipped 0.7% to €956 per tonne against international benchmark levels above €1,200 per tonne throughout the period.

The cashew operation at Tiebissou delivered more dramatic volume gains, with raw cashew nuts (RCN) processed up 45.7% to 3,165 tonnes, cashew production up 82.0%, and sales volumes up 105.4%, driven by expanded processing capacity and the addition of third-party RCN to produce a new unpeeled product line.

The extraction rate improved to 30.0% from 23.8% a year earlier, but average peeled cashew prices fell 22.1% to €4,050 per tonne, reflecting softer global cashew markets.

"With good momentum across both operations, we approach the second half of the year with confidence," said chief executive Youval Rasin.

The company expects local CPO pricing to strengthen in the second half as the low season reduces local supply, and anticipates higher PKO volumes as palm kernel stockpiles built during the half are processed.
