Pulsar Group (AIM:PULS), in a stock market statement, addressed recent press speculation about its dealings with HM Revenue & Customs, confirming the AIM-listed group is in regular contact with the tax authority over the timing of certain VAT and PAYE payments.
The company said substantial payments have already been made, with the Board expecting the remaining amounts to be settled from normal cash collections.
Pulsar described its underlying trading position as stable, with the business operating as normal.
The Board anticipates reaching a satisfactory conclusion with HMRC.
The company said it would provide a further update as appropriate.
Pulsar fell 8.9% to 25.5p after the update.
