GreenX Metals begins 2026 fieldwork at Eleonore North

"Eleonore North gives us high-grade occurrences of both in a stable Western jurisdiction at a time when supply is heavily concentrated in China," said chief executive Ben Stoikovich.

GreenX Metals (LSE:GRX) announced the start of its 2026 exploration program at the Eleonore North project in East Greenland.

The ASX and London-listed explorer is targeting gold, tungsten and antimony across a licence package that has seen little modern exploration.

A specialist in Reduced Intrusion-related Gold Systems will evaluate the Noa Pluton prospect alongside newly generated targets, while the field team collects 50kg to 100kg bulk samples of tungsten and antimony-bearing material from the North and South Margeries deposits.

That material will feed scoping study level metallurgical sighter test work, with archive core from both deposits already assayed ahead of the field season and results due in the coming months.

Tungsten and antimony are classified as critical raw materials by both the European Union and the United States, with global supply concentrated in China.

"Eleonore North gives us high-grade occurrences of both in a stable Western jurisdiction at a time when supply is heavily concentrated in China," said chief executive Ben Stoikovich.

Hyperspectral analysis flagged earlier this year, on 14 May, identified alteration anomalies along strike and adjacent to both Margeries deposits, which the company sees as potential satellite discoveries.

Extensional and infill drilling could follow if the sighter test work and hyperspectral anomalies are confirmed, with all results expected in the coming months.

News Intelligence what this means for the company

GreenX Metals has mobilised field teams at Eleonore North in East Greenland to advance gold, tungsten and antimony exploration, collecting bulk samples for metallurgical test work on the tungsten and antimony deposits. The move diversifies the company's portfolio beyond its flagship Tannenberg copper project in Germany, targeting critical raw materials where supply is concentrated in China—but the program remains early-stage, with results expected in coming months and any follow-up drilling contingent on sighter test outcomes.

Investment case

Eleonore North represents a new exploration vector for GreenX, but at an early stage where bulk sampling and metallurgical sighter work are the near-term catalysts. The company's investment case remains anchored to Tannenberg, where an initial drill programme is planned for late 2026; Eleonore North adds optionality on critical materials but does not yet alter the core value driver.
