SEED Innovations raises £2.9m, resumes AIM trading

SEED Innovations (AIM:SEED) has raised gross proceeds of £2.9 million through a combined fundraising, retail offer and a second closing of investor demand, clearing the way for its shares to resume trading on AIM from 7.30am today.

The AIM-listed investing company, which targets early-stage physical AI and robotics ventures, said its WRAP Retail Offer raised approximately £167,000 at an issue price of 2.4p per share, while a second closing of the Fundraising brought in a further £217,000 after additional investor interest.

Together the Retail Offer and second closing added £384,097, taking the combined total raised across all three elements to £2.9 million through the issue of 120.87 million new shares.

Seed said the proceeds will fund further deals in physical AI and robotics and support follow-on investments in existing portfolio companies, extending a strategy it adopted in 2025 that has already produced three sector investments, including stakes in Feather Robotics, Fieldwork Robotics and Cosmic Robotics.

Non-Executive Chair Jim Mellon, investing through Galloway, took up £1.01 million.98 of the fundraising, lifting his holding to 86.21 million shares, or 27.91% of the enlarged capital on admission.

Sir James Bucknall subscribed £24,999.98, giving the two directors a combined 28.25% stake once the new shares are admitted.

The raise followed a trading halt under AIM's newly introduced Capital Access Window, used to stabilise pricing during the capital raise; that window has now closed, restoring trading in Seed's shares from 7.30am.
