Bluebird Mining Ventures (LSE:BMV), the gold streaming, mining and treasury company, said its first Bitcoin streaming investment completed its first full month of operation in July, generating recurring revenue in line with management expectations.

The investment began production on 22 June, and the July update confirms the model is now generating consistent cash flow.

BMV is building this into a zero-upfront-capital streaming approach, giving counterparties access to Bitcoin-producing infrastructure without funding capital expenditure themselves.

The company is running a parallel structured gold streaming product, offering producers non-dilutive capital in exchange for a share of future output, and spent July refining the refining, custody, legal and compliance framework needed to support it.

Total net asset value rose to $1.18m at the end of July, up from $1.14m a month earlier. That figure splits into $449,059 of streaming NAV and $727,266 of treasury NAV, with the treasury also running a testing programme across selected decentralised finance protocols, which the company does not yet consider a material operating business.

"July was a month of continued execution," said chief executive Sath Ganesarajah.

"August is traditionally a quieter period for the market, and our focus remains on execution," he added, pointing to further updates as commercial milestones are reached.

News Intelligence what this means for the company

Bluebird Mining's Bitcoin streaming investment, brought into operation on 22 June, has now completed its first full month of production in July and is generating recurring revenue aligned with management expectations. Net asset value rose modestly to $1.18 million (up $40,000 month-on-month), split between $449,059 in streaming NAV and $727,266 in treasury NAV. The company is positioning this as a zero-upfront-capital model for counterparties seeking Bitcoin infrastructure exposure, while running a parallel gold streaming product and testing decentralized finance protocols.

Investment case

The announcement confirms the Bitcoin streaming model is operationally functional and cash-generative, validating the business model's core premise. However, at $1.18 million total NAV, the venture remains nascent; the company's ability to scale this into material revenue and whether the parallel gold streaming product gains traction remain open questions.
