Sage (FTSE:SGE) has lifted the lid on an expansion of its strategic relationship with Amazon Web Services, unveiled at Sage Future in San Francisco, to bring agentic AI into core finance workflows for small and mid-sized businesses.

The collaboration targets four specific areas: expanded innovation and go-to-market activity, the launch of Sage Developer Solutions on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and in AWS Marketplace, tighter technology integration to remove adoption barriers, and an accelerated migration path from Sage desktop franchises to AWS cloud.

Under the arrangement, Sage will contribute its AI-powered financial software and developer platform while AWS supplies cloud infrastructure, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Marketplace distribution, enabling Sage partners and ISVs to build, list and sell AI agents that automate accounts payable, cash-flow, payroll and compliance tasks.

"We’re making it easier and faster for our customers to have greater access to trusted intelligence, built into the way they run their business," said Steve Hare, CEO of Sage.
