Celsius Resources (AIM:CLA) has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Tambuli Mining Company, which is progressing the Sagay Copper Project in the Philippines, has appointed Dr Attilenore "Nene" Manero as Interim Chair and President, and it intends to appoint Mr Peter Hume as Technical Advisor.

Dr Manero was previously a non-executive director of Celsius and served as Chief Sustainability Director of MMCI, and her experience in government and regulatory affairs and familiarity with the Sagay Copper Project and local stakeholders were cited by the company.

Hume is currently interim chair of Celsius, will remain on the Celsius board and continue his role as Interim Chair while taking up the Tambuli advisory role.

Celsius said the hires will retain in‑country expertise to support permits and stakeholder engagement as Tambuli advances the Sagay Project, but noted that the group's primary focus remains on developing the MCB Copper‑Gold Project.
