Mindflair said on Wednesday that Mirror Security, an investee company, has been selected for Google's Gemini Startup Forum: Cybersecurity.

The startup, which develops secure, privacy-preserving AI technology for enterprise use, was chosen alongside 32 other cybersecurity companies for the programme, which backs firms building AI-enabled security technologies.

"This is a clear endorsement of the company's technology and an important opportunity to accelerate its development within the Gemini ecosystem", said Nicholas Lee, director of Mindflair.

Mindflair is an AIM-quoted investment company that backs AI-related technology businesses across cybersecurity, machine learning, immersive technologies and big data. It has so far built a portfolio of more than 30 AI-focused companies to date.

Mirror Security is held within Sure Valley Ventures' third fund, SVV3, in which Mindflair holds an interest.
