Cerillion (AIM:CER), in its half-year results, said it had more than doubled new orders to £39.6m in the six months ended 31 March.

The needle moved from £19.6m in H1 2025, led by a £42.5m five‑year transformation contract with Omantel, and leaving a record back‑order book of £82.1m as at 31 March.

Cerillion, a billing, charging and customer relationship management software provider for telecoms, reported revenue for the six months ended 31 March down 14% to £18m (H1 2025: £20.9m) and adjusted profit before tax down 41% to £5.5m (H1 2025: £9.3m), which the group attributed to the phasing of high‑margin licence recognition into the second half.

"Winning the £42.5m transformation project with Omantel marks a significant milestone in the ongoing development of the business," said Louis Hall, CEO.

Net cash increased slightly to £32.5m at 31 March (31 March 2025: £31.2m), the interim dividend was raised 15% to 5.5p (H1 2025: 4.8p), annualised recurring revenue rose to £19.1m (H1 2025: £18.2m) and the new customer sales pipeline increased 4% to £271m (H1 2025: £261m).

Implementation of the Omantel contract is underway, covering fixed, mobile, broadband and TV services. Ucom's rollout in Armenia is progressing towards an autumn cutover, it added, and it highlighed the April product release, Cerillion 26.1, which added Agent2Agent capabilities for coordinated multi‑step process execution.

The board said it remains on track to deliver consensus market expectations for FY26, underpinned by the record back‑order book, anticipated licence recognition in H2 and expected orders from existing customers.
