Physiomics (AIM:PYC) has announced that Peter Sargent has agreed to extend his existing agreement and will remain in his current role throughout June 2026.

The board and Dr Sargent remain in ongoing discussions about a potentially longer-term continuation of his involvement and will provide further updates in due course.

"In the short time we have worked with Pete, he has overseen operations and handled the management transition with skill and sensitivity, and we are delighted he will continue while we develop plans for growth and expansion," Nick Tulloch, Chairman, said.

The board acknowledged Dr Sargent's professionalism and contribution during a period of considerable change within the business and looks forward to continuing the productive working relationship.

Sargent's continued presence through June provides a clear near-term governance timeline as the board develops longer-term leadership plans.
