4basebio has signed a multi‑year Clinical Supply Agreement with a leading cancer immunotherapy innovator to provide GMP‑grade opDNA® starting material for an upcoming Phase II clinical trial and expects the work to deliver an approximate seven‑figure revenue stream over the next 12 months.

Under the agreement 4basebio, the Cambridge‑based biotech that uses an enzymatic, cell‑free DNA manufacturing platform for genetic medicines, will supply synthetic DNA as a critical material intended to replace plasmid DNA, fully eliminating microbial contamination and antibiotic resistance genes and helping to accelerate sequence‑to‑clinic timelines.

"We continue to see growing interest in our DNA molecules across the genetic medicine space and are delighted to support our partners through their clinical trials," Dr Amy Walker, Chief Executive Officer, said.
