The Cambridge-based synthetic DNA specialist upgraded its high-quality and cGMP operations to support smaller, patient-specific batches for personalised mRNA medicines.

The Cambridge biotech will supply its synthetic, cell-free DNA platform to Genezen under a non-exclusive collaboration aimed at drug developers building viral vector manufacturing programmes.

Dr Jeff Coller joins 4basebio's Strategic Advisory Board effective 15 June to advise on scaling synthetic DNA manufacturing for mRNA, AAV vector and gene‑editing applications.
