Union Jack Oil (AIM:UJO), the AIM-listed onshore UK oil and gas company, disclosed that it has received a formal requisition notice calling for a general meeting at which shareholders would vote to remove all three current directors.

The notice targets David Bramhill, Joseph O'Farrell and Zac Phillips for removal, and proposes the appointment of Craig Howie and John Americanos to the board in their place.

The board said it will convene the meeting within statutory timelines and in accordance with the company's articles of association.
