LPA Group holds 2027 guidance after revenue growth

by tickstock newsroom · Editor JMA

LPA Group (AIM:LPA) on Tuesday told investors that revenue rose 30% to £28.1 million in the year ended 30 September, with adjusted earnings for the year expected to come in line with the guidance it raised earlier this year.

The AIM-listed engineering company, which designs and manufactures electronic and electro-mechanical components for the rail and aviation sectors, ended the year with order intake of £20.7 million and a total order book of £25.1 million.

Reported pre-tax profit for the year will also benefit from net exceptional income tied to an accelerated payment on a contract, triggered by a change in customer requirements, a development LPA had already flagged.

The update follows a run of contract wins through the summer, including £1.4 million to supply inter-car jumper systems to a global train builder and nearly £989,000 of UK rail refurbishment and overhaul awards, alongside a distribution deal with Boeing Distribution for its Red Box Aviation product range.

Chief executive Philo Daniel-Tran said the group had concluded the year "exceeding original expectations for both revenue and margins."

He added that LPA enters the new financial year "with a healthy pipeline of opportunities" and remains on track delivering its "One LPA" transformation programme.

Guidance for the 2027 financial year remains unchanged, the company noted.
