Gunsynd (AIM:GUN), the AIM-listed natural resources investment company, has reported initial assay results from the Phase 1 summer field programme at its Barb Gold Project in Manitoba, Canada.
Critical Discoveries collected 59 samples across the Lotus and Betty Shaft showings, with grades ranging from 0.008 to 489 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.
Of the total samples, 35 returned above 1 g/t, 23 above 5 g/t, and three above 100 g/t gold.
The Lotus showing delivered the headline numbers, with five samples above 80 g/t and visible gold observed in 12 samples, including one returning 489 g/t and another 165 g/t.
At the Betty Shaft area, grab samples reached 27.2 g/t, with seven samples above 5 g/t and polymetallic mineralisation including tetrahedrite and chalcopyrite widely observed.
Executive director Hamish Harris said the results were consistent with the company's geological model linking mineralisation to the Wanipigow Shear Zone, a structural interpretation first outlined in February 2026.
Multi-element geochemical results from the programme remain pending.
