London BTC Company (LSE:BTC) will begin phase two of its US gold, silver and critical minerals strategy on the ground in Nevada this week, mobilising technical personnel across two parallel workstreams running to December.

The exploration company's initial staking activity has already delivered four Nevada projects: Teep, with grades up to 40.56 grams per tonne gold and 1,332.5 g/t silver; Black Star, up to 16.2 g/t gold and 50.5 g/t silver; Amonett-Frank, up to 143.1 g/t gold and 88.3 g/t silver; and Huntington-Whitman.

"We believe that we are currently operating at the intersection of three of the most powerful themes in global markets today: Bitcoin, precious metals and America's drive to secure domestic supplies of critical minerals," said CEO Hewie Rattray.

New exploration programs across the four existing projects, comprising rock chip sampling, geological mapping and data compilation, will run from September to late October. Samples go to Nevada assay laboratories from mid-September, with results expected roughly a week after delivery, subject to quality assurance and Competent Person review.

The company also plans due diligence on further low-cost projects across Nevada, Arizona and Texas from August to October, targeting at least 32 mineralised clusters this year across gold, silver, antimony and tungsten, the last two designated critical minerals by the US government.

Staking of new claims is expected to begin in September, with initial results from the 2026 program finalised by November.

News Intelligence what this means for the company

London BTC is mobilising field teams to Nevada this week to begin phase two of exploration across four gold and silver projects, adding antimony and tungsten to its target list through September–December work including rock-chip sampling, geological mapping, and staking of new claims. The company aims to evaluate at least 32 mineralised clusters across Nevada, Arizona and Texas by year-end, with initial 2026 program results finalised by November. This advances the field mobilisation planned for late August and represents a material expansion of the exploration footprint beyond the four existing projects already staked.

Investment case

The phase-two expansion broadens London BTC's precious-metals and critical-minerals exposure across a larger geographic and commodity base, but remains early-stage exploration with no production timeline or capital commitment disclosed. The company's stated intent to channel any gold profits back into Bitcoin mining and treasury accumulation means exploration success would serve its core Bitcoin strategy rather than create a standalone mining business.
