RC365 Holding (LSE:RCGH), an East and Southeast Asia-focused payment solutions and fintech company, has secured a merchant point-of-sale contract with StarCruises International, to deploy the RC3.0 app from June.
The agreement covers RC365's wholly-owned subsidiary Regal Crown Technology, which will install its Merchant Owned Ecosystem POS system across StarCruises' onboard payment environment, encompassing retail, dining, entertainment and leisure transactions.
Revenue will be generated on a percentage-based fee applied to gross merchant sales processed through RC3.0, including cryptocurrency transactions where applicable, with no minimum volume commitments disclosed.
The platform operates without physical hardware, and RC365 says the asset-light model reduces onboarding costs and improves operating leverage as transaction volumes grow.
The initial term runs for one year from 1 June, renewing automatically on successive one-year periods, with user acceptance testing currently underway.
"This contract win underlines the continuing growth, scaling potential, and competitive health of our secure fintech and cross-border online payment gateway ecosystems across East Asia," said Chi Kit Law, Chief Executive Officer.
Go-live is targeted this month, with recurring revenue dependent on onboard passenger transaction volumes scaling over time.
