accesso Technology Group (LSE:ACSO) has appointed Joni Newkirk as a Non-Executive Director of the Group, effective 22 April. The move strengthens board expertise in data-led commercial optimisation as accesso integrates its recent purchase of Dexibit.

Newkirk brings more than 35 years in attractions and hospitality, including roughly 20 years at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts where she rose to Senior Vice President of Business Insight and Improvement and was responsible for managing and driving over $8 billion in revenue. She founded and led Integrated Insight, a pricing, revenue-management and analytics consultancy, from 2009 until its sale in 2026.

"We are delighted to welcome Joni to the Board. Few people in our industry can match the depth of experience she brings - having spent two decades at the highest levels of Disney Parks and Resorts, where she was responsible for driving over $8 billion in revenue, before going on to build a successful consulting business advising leading attractions operators worldwide. Her combination of deep industry knowledge, commercial acumen, and analytical rigour will be a tremendous asset to the Board," Bill Russell, Non-Executive Chairman, said.

"Having worked with attractions operators for over 35 years, I have seen first-hand the transformative impact that data-driven decision making can have on both commercial performance and the guest experience. accesso's technology platform, combined with its growing focus on intelligence and analytics, creates a genuinely differentiated proposition. I look forward to contributing to the next phase of growth," Joni Newkirk added.
