Critical Mineral Resources confirms near‑surface copper‑silver at Agadir Melloul

Critical Mineral Resources says new assays and an internal block model show laterally extensive, shallow copper‑silver mineralisation at Agadir Melloul and underpin plans for a maiden JORC Mineral Resource Estimate later in 2026.

Critical Mineral Resources reported drilling that continues to confirm laterally extensive, near‑surface copper‑silver mineralisation at its Agadir Melloul project, including multiple higher‑grade zones and fresh intercepts such as 9.7m at 0.74% Cu and 4.46g/t Ag.

The explorer says the shallow, gently dipping style and an internal block model prepared by its senior geologist support potential for favourable development economics and underpin plans for a maiden JORC Mineral Resource Estimate later in 2026, with the company timetable listing Oct-Nov as the target window.

“The growing geological model continues to strengthen our confidence in the project's development potential as we advance towards a maiden JORC Resource Estimate,” Charlie Long, Chief Executive Officer, said.

Key new intercepts highlighted include 9.7m at 0.74% Cu and 4.46g/t from 25.2m, 3m at 1.12% Cu and 5.75g/t from 24m, 1.9m at 1.20% Cu from 38.3m and a 1m gold hit at 4.52g/t from 10m.

Less than 5% of the sedimentary target has been drilled to date and the programme has completed 176 holes (172 assayed) totalling 6,711m, with assay turnaround of three-four weeks.

At a 0.20% Cu cut‑off 57 holes (33.13%) are positive, falling to 48 (28%) at 0.25% and 40 (23.26%) at 0.30%, with a maximum observed grade of 2.66% Cu across scenarios.

Drill spacing is predominantly 50m x 100m and 100m x 100m, which the company says is likely to convert many zones to Measured and Indicated categories for the maiden estimate.

Management says near‑term priorities are metallurgical testwork, flowsheet development and feasibility studies, and a technical committee will hold its first meetings and a site visit towards the end of June.

Next material milestone is the maiden JORC Mineral Resource Estimate, targeted later in 2026 with Oct-Nov shown in the company's timetable.
