"The ability to offer next-day delivery on these platforms will, we believe, be a genuine game changer," said Martin Higginson

Huddled Group (AIM:HUD) shares soared higher, adding 28% to 0.45p, after it launched proprietary live-commerce software and formed a joint venture with AEWW, operator of the AE Stores channel on Whatnot.

The AIM-listed circular-economy e-commerce group built the system to solve a scaling bottleneck in live commerce, the coordination of stock, orders and fulfilment across multiple sellers and platforms.

The software connects third-party live-commerce sellers to Huddled's centralised stock pool and fulfilment infrastructure, letting presenters focus on content and sales while the Group handles stock allocation, order processing and delivery.

AEWW, incorporated in March 2026, has grown its AE Stores following on Whatnot to 36,500 in under six months.

Under the joint venture, AE Stores will be rebranded Peeko Gadgets and folded into the existing Peeko brand alongside its beauty and treats stores, with further stores planned as the venture scales.

The tie-up will focus exclusively on Whatnot, where dwell times run to roughly 90 minutes compared with just a few minutes on traditional e-commerce platforms.

"The ability to offer next-day delivery on these platforms will, we believe, be a genuine game changer," said Martin Higginson, Executive Chairman of Huddled Group.

Jason McNeill and Regan McNeill, Joint Managing Directors of AEWW, said fulfilment bottlenecks had been their biggest obstacle to scaling sales, and that next-day delivery on orders placed up to 11pm "gives us a real USP in the Whatnot marketplace."

News Intelligence what this means for the company

Huddled Group has launched proprietary software to solve live commerce's core scaling problem—coordinating stock, orders and fulfilment across multiple sellers—and immediately deployed it via a joint venture with AEWW to rebrand and scale the AE Stores channel on Whatnot to 36,500 followers in under six months. The venture's competitive edge is next-day delivery on orders placed up to 11pm, a capability that addresses the operators' stated fulfilment bottleneck and exploits Whatnot's 90-minute dwell time (versus minutes on traditional e-commerce), positioning Huddled's infrastructure as the enabler of speed in a platform where engagement is the currency.

Investment case

The software launch and AEWW joint venture validate Huddled's thesis that live-commerce sellers need outsourced fulfilment to scale, and provide a near-term revenue and margin test case on a platform with structural advantages (long dwell times, repeat engagement). Success here could unlock a repeatable playbook for other live-commerce channels, but the venture is nascent and Whatnot-specific; execution risk on next-day delivery logistics and the venture's ability to grow beyond 36,500 followers remains material.
