LPA Group (AIM:LPA), which designs and manufactures electronic and electro-mechanical components and systems for the rail and aviation sectors, has secured approximately £989,000 in contract awards focused on the refurbishment and overhaul of UK rail rolling stock.

The largest award, worth £550,000, comes from a major train operating company for rail components supplied as part of a fleet refurbishment programme.

A second contract, valued at £349,000, was placed by a multinational train manufacturer for inter-car jumpers to support an overhaul programme. And, the remaining £90,000 covers smaller orders for components and spares from additional train operators and manufacturers.

"The aftercare market continues to be of strategic importance to LPA, and we are pleased to secure this additional business, which further strengthens our position in supporting long-term fleet maintenance and reliability for our customers," said chief executive Philo Daniel-Tran.

Customer deliveries are scheduled to commence in October 2026.
