Sundae Bar (AIM:SBAR), the AIM-listed platform that lets businesses discover, deploy and manage AI tools through a single interface, has fully integrated its commercial marketplace with Subnet 121 (SN121), its decentralised AI development network.

The company has also changed its name to Sundae Bar AI, which it says better reflects its focus on artificial intelligence.

Under the integrated model, customer demand identified on the commercial platform feeds directly into development challenges on SN121, where a global developer community competes to build solutions that are benchmarked automatically before deployment back to customers.

The company reported £719,892 in revenue and other operating income for the six months to 31 March, its first period of recognised enterprise revenue, following its first commercial contract in March.

Since listing, the company has acquired SN121, launched a marketplace with more than 200 AI agents, introduced a skills directory now exceeding 120 workflows, and built two of its own agents, Crumble and Scoop, from learnings drawn from more than 1,600 SN121 submissions.

"We've gone from a beta marketplace to a platform with paying customers and more than 500 AI Skills and Agents, all sitting behind a single simple interface", said chief executive Jill Kenney.

The board's near-term priorities include scaling enterprise contracts, expanding the skills catalogue, growing developer participation on SN121, and automating benchmarking further, alongside maintaining prudent financial management.

News Intelligence what this means for the company

Sundae Bar has rebranded to Sundae Bar AI and fully integrated its commercial marketplace with its decentralised developer network SN121, creating a closed-loop model where customer demand feeds directly into developer challenges. The company is early-revenue-scale, having reported £719,892 in revenue for its first six months of recognised enterprise income (to 31 March), following its maiden commercial contract in March—a meaningful but early-stage validation of its platform model.

Investment case

The rebrand and integration represent a narrative refinement rather than a material operational shift; the company has already been operating both the marketplace and SN121 in parallel. The core investment case remains unchanged: a pre-revenue small-cap executing a developer-marketplace flywheel that's working towards profitability, though the first enterprise contract and £719,892 in half-year revenue mark early traction.
