Kavango Resources announced it is reshuffling its board and senior management, with Peter Wynter Bee stepping down from the board on 1 July, and Donald McAlister moving from Executive Interim Finance Director to Non‑Executive Chairman and Interim Chief Executive Officer.

The Southern Africa‑focused metals exploration and gold production company said the changes are intended to provide continuity while it continues its search for a permanent chief executive.

It also confirmed Thamsanqa Mpofu will join as a non‑executive director from 1 July and Lorenz Werndle will join as chief financial officer and executive director from 20 July.

"Donald brings extensive mining and finance experience, as well as a strong understanding of Zimbabwe," Peter Wynter Bee said.
