The integrated copper producer and resource developer said the planned step-up represents more than a 100% increase in ROM deliveries to Sable and that combined mined copper reef is expected to reach 60,000 tonnes per quarter once Pits 2 and 3 are combined at an average stripping ratio of 6:1.

An accelerated pre-strip programme that commenced in April remains on track for completion in July to support the pit integration and increased feed to the Sable refinery.

The next development phase will focus first on on-site ore sorting to better segregate high-grade material and then on targeted processing of lower-grade ROM to improve copper recovery and project economics, Jubilee said.

In parallel Jubilee is expanding Phase 2 resource definition drilling across the greater Molefe district to underpin future mine expansion.

An independent third party is expected to compile a JORC-compliant resource after Phase 2 drilling, with the competent person's report targeted for Q4 CY2026 subject to timely assay results.

"Molefe Mine is evolving into a cornerstone asset within our integrated mine-to-metals platform, with the operation on track to achieve a meaningful step-up in production over the coming months," Jubilee CEO Leon Coetzer said.

Jubilee will host a live investor presentation on Molefe on 10 June at 14:00 UK time via Investor Meet Company.
