Bytes Technology Group splits executive roles

The software, security, AI and cloud services firm has begun a search for a new chief financial officer after deciding to separate its combined finance and operations roles.

Bytes Technology Group (LSE:BYIT) has split the combined chief financial officer and chief operating officer roles, and said Andrew Holden will step down as CFO and from the board once a suitable replacement has been appointed, at which point he will continue with the company as chief operating officer.

"We are grateful for Andrew's contribution and pleased we will retain his operational experience as he moves into the chief operating officer role," Chair Patrick De Smedt said.

The company has commenced a process to recruit a new chief financial officer and said it will make a further announcement in due course.
