Elizabeth Hill drilling extends silver zone west of resource

Diamond drilling at the Elizabeth Hill Silver Project has intersected 67.1 metres at 19 g/t silver from surface, expanding a near-surface zone beyond Alien Metals' current resource model.

Alien Metals (AIM:UFO) said its joint venture partner West Coast Silver has reported fresh assay results from diamond drilling at the Elizabeth Hill Silver Project in Western Australia.

Alien, a minerals exploration and development company, holds a 30% interest in the project alongside a stake in West Coast Silver itself.

Hole 26WCDD036 returned 67.1 metres at 19 g/t silver from surface, including higher-grade intervals of 12.3 metres at 22 g/t and 10.9 metres at 24 g/t. Further holes added to the picture: 26WCDD035 returned 48.5 metres at 19 g/t silver, and 26WCDD033 returned 24 metres at 14 g/t.

The results confirm broad low-to-moderate grade silver mineralisation extending west of the April 2026 mineral resource estimate of 2.8 million ounces, with the zone remaining open.

At Elizabeth Hill Deeps, hole 26WCDD030 returned only minor mineralisation but helped constrain the northern boundary of a newly identified high-grade zone, which stays open to the east and south.

"The footprint of lower grade mineralisation north and west of the existing MRE has been expanded and infilled but not closed out," said West Coast Silver executive director Sergei Smolonogov.

Final assays from holes 26WCDD037-39 are expected by the end of August, feeding into an updated resource estimate and a scoping study, both due to start in the fourth quarter.

News Intelligence what this means for the company

West Coast Silver's diamond drilling at Elizabeth Hill has intersected broad silver mineralisation extending west of the April 2026 resource estimate of 2.8 million ounces, with multiple holes returning 19 g/t silver over 48–67 metres from surface. The zone remains open and unlosed, feeding into an updated resource estimate and scoping study due in Q4—a routine exploration step that expands the footprint but does not yet quantify additional mineable ounces or alter project economics.

Investment case

Alien holds a 30% interest in Elizabeth Hill alongside a stake in West Coast Silver itself. Expansion of the near-surface mineralisation footprint is consistent with early-stage exploration upside, but the company's investment case remains anchored to the timing and outcome of the Q4 resource update and scoping study, not to drilling width alone. With approximately A$3.0 million in cash at 30 June 2026, execution risk on funding the next phase of work remains material for a junior explorer.
