Plus500 (LSE:PLUS) said on Monday it expects full-year 2026 revenue and EBITDA to come in ahead of current market expectations, after third-quarter revenue rose 11% year-on-year to $203.2m.
The London-listed online trading platform operator, whose shares trade under the ticker PLUS, said EBITDA for the quarter grew 7% to $88.4m, delivering a 44% margin. For the nine months to 30 September, revenue increased 11% to $666.1m, up from $597.8m, while EBITDA rose 3% to $275.9m, from $267.8m.
New customers in the quarter grew 27% year-on-year to 28,747, even as average user acquisition cost fell 14% to $1,150.
Active customers reached 119,528, up 4%, and total customer deposits hit a quarterly record of $1.9bn, up from $1.7bn a year earlier.
"Plus500 has delivered significant strategic and operational progress in Q3 and throughout 2026, underpinning strong financial results," said chief executive David Zruia, adding that "with momentum accelerating across the Group, the Board expects that FY 2026 revenue and EBITDA will be ahead of current market expectations."
The company's non-OTC business, spanning futures, prediction markets and share dealing, accounted for roughly 16% of group revenue and 31% of new customers for the nine months to September, with customer segregated funds surpassing $1bn at period end.
Plus500 closed out the quarter with cash balances exceeding $775m, after paying an $87.4m dividend and conducting roughly $63.5m of share buybacks during the period.
The quarter also brought two acquisitions central to the group's expansion plans: a conditional deal for US broker-dealer Hedge, and the acquisition of Guru Corretora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários, a Brazilian broker-dealer regulated by Brazil's Central Bank and Securities and Exchange Commission.
Plus500 first disclosed the Guru deal on 20 October, saying it would fund the acquisition entirely from existing cash resources, which stood at more than $860m as of 30 June, with completion subject to regulatory approval; the purchase builds on the group's existing B2B partnership with Nelogica and its presence in Colombia.

The Hedge acquisition is intended to extend Plus500's existing CFTC-regulated US operations into SEC-regulated markets, supporting the planned launch of a multi-asset "super-app" for US customers in the first quarter of 2027, covering futures, options on futures, prediction markets, stocks, options and ETFs on a single platform.
Shortly after the quarter ended, Plus500 extended its OTC trading offering to include 24/7 trading on gold, silver, oil and natural gas, alongside new daily option contracts, following its earlier launch of 24/5 trading on stocks and ETFs.
