Smiths News (LSE:SNWS) has secured new long-term contracts with Frontline and Seymour Distribution, the UK's largest magazine distributor and largest independent magazine distributor respectively, extending its role as the UK's leading early morning supply chain provider.
The deals expand Smiths News' exclusive national wholesale distribution territory to cover all of Great Britain from April 2030 and extend the contract term to April 2037.
Frontline and Seymour together account for more than 60% of the UK magazine market, and the expanded agreements are expected to add approximately £105m to annual revenue once the wider territories take effect.
The awards follow the News UK and Associated Newspapers contracts announced in June, giving Smiths News a substantial long-term volume base across national newspapers and magazines.
Delivery across all four contracts depends on building an expanded national footprint, with guidance on implementation costs, transition costs, network expansion benefits, and dividend and financing arrangements unchanged from the 17 June update.
"The new contracts continue to reinforce the importance of the printed magazine market which our business model has successfully evolved to support," said chief executive Jonathan Bunting.
The board expects to provide further financial guidance on all four contracts at its preliminary results on 4 November.
