Wildcat Gold (LSE:WCAT) appointed Niclas Biornstad as Technical Advisor to the board on 9 June with responsibility for the evaluation and development of gold projects in the Republic of Sudan, and said he is intended to join the board as a non-executive director following successful admission to the Aquis Exchange and completion of its initial gold project, subject to successfully passing due diligence.
Biornstad is executive director and co-founder of Nidhogg Resources Holding AB (publ), a listed Swedish natural resources company.
The company said he brings cross-continental executive, operational, technical and commercial experience across the minerals and upstream oil and gas sectors including licence evaluation and negotiation, field development planning, net smelter royalty arrangements and capital raising.
"His skill set in relation to the evaluation of gold licences and negotiation of terms & conditions will be very useful as the Company attempts to secure its first project," Mandhir Singh, Chairman.
