Zinc Media Group, the AIM-listed television, brand and audio production group, has won a contract worth $6.1m to produce a 90-minute feature film for a leading institution in the Middle East.
Revenue from the deal will be recognised across the current and next financial year.
The client and subject matter remain confidential ahead of the film's public release, but Zinc will lead all aspects of production delivery.
The win builds on the group's 20-year presence in the region through The Edge in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, alongside its more recent push into long-form content, television production and events there.
Zinc has set an ambition to double its Middle East turnover over the next three years, and it points to this commission as evidence that strategy is gaining traction.
"To be trusted with a feature film of this ambition by one of the Middle East's leading institutions is a powerful endorsement of our creative and production capability, and of the relationships we have built over two decades in the market," said chief executive Mark Browning.
