BSF Enterprise PLC (LSE:BSFA)'s wholly-owned subsidiary Lab-Grown Leather has won four awards at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2026, including a Gold Lion in PR, for its T-Rex Leather campaign developed with WPP-owned creative network VML.

The Gold Lion recognised strategic communication and cultural storytelling around the material's market debut; a Silver Lion in PR Effectiveness validated commercial traction and brand engagement; two Bronze Lions covered Creative B2B Market Disruption and Environmental Innovation respectively.

BSF Enterprise, an AIM-listed investor in advanced tissue engineering and biotech solutions, said the recognition extends beyond marketing, describing the awards as proof-of-concept for its underlying Advanced Tissue Engineering Platform (ATEP) and its scalable licensing model.

The company said it is in active discussions with global sportswear brands and premium automotive manufacturers exploring bespoke eco-friendly cabin interiors and upholstery, citing heightened engagement following the festival.

"We are successfully shifting the dialogue from novelty to industrial implementation," said CEO Che Connon, adding that the campaign demonstrates ATEP "does not just offer an extraordinary scientific breakthrough, but a culturally compelling, market-ready proposition."

The Cannes showing followed the world-first unveiling of a T-Rex Leather handbag in Paris, with the company using the festival to debut sculptural T-Rex Leather earrings as its next commercial expression of the material.
