Hydrogen Utopia International (LSE:HUI), which develops technology to convert non-recyclable waste plastics into hydrogen, has completed a fundraise of £850,000.
The company has also appointed Clear Capital Markets as its broker, working alongside Alfred Henry Corporate Finance as nominated adviser.
Following admission of new shares, HUI will have 475.14m shares in issue, each carrying one voting right.
The group holds no shares in treasury, so total voting rights match the enlarged share count.
The fundraise comes as global energy security concerns intensify, with Brent crude having crossed $100 per barrel amid escalating tensions in the Middle East and US Gulf Coast jet fuel spot prices trading at approximately $3.57 per gallon.
