Light Science Technologies Holdings (AIM:LST) has secured its first order as a supplier of the Injectaclad fire‑resistant graphite barrier system, a c.£0.41m contract to be called off over a 19‑week project following its 14 April acquisition of RLUK Injection Ltd.

Work is scheduled to commence in early May on a five‑storey residential building in East Yorkshire and the group expects the c.£0.41m of revenue to be fully recognised in the current financial year, subject to the project progressing as anticipated.

The group says commitments for Injectaclad product have now been secured from five of the 11 quality‑accredited installation contractors, supporting the acquisition rationale to capture higher‑margin supplier revenue rather than operating solely as an installer.

"We are delighted with the recent order win, which highlights the significant opportunity to position ourselves as both an installer and supplier of Injectaclad," Simon Deacon, CEO of LSTH, said.

LSTH reports completion of the initial integration phase with IT, management information, insurance and legal frameworks migrated, a warehouse established at its CEM Manchester site and strengthened engagement with fire engineers, architects and the installer network.

The company says the next phase will concentrate on adding technical, quality and governance expertise, implementing enhanced testing programmes with selected partners and broadening communications to convert projects awaiting Building Safety Regulator approval.
