Tekcapital (LSE:TEK), the early-stage technology investor, highlighted a number of portfolio companies growing revenues as it reported on its own financial results on Wednesday.

In the mandatory financial reporting, the investment company marked a loss after tax of US$17.1m for the year ended 31 December 2025, principally due to an unrealised fair-value decrease of its portfolio, and on 10 February raised US$2.05m (£1.5m) by issuing 18.75m new shares at 8p per share.

The firm said it closed the year with net assets of US$55.1m, NAV per share of US$0.23 and a portfolio valuation of US$46.9m while trimming annual costs to US$1.88m from US$2.03m a year earlier.

Tekcapital highlighted operational momentum across holdings, with portfolio revenues up sharply in 2025 including Innovative Eyewear +69%, MicroSalt +187%, GenIP +330% and Guident +862%.

Highlighting the portfolio company progress, it pointed to MicroSalt completing a December 2025 subscription and retail offer that raised approximately £1.72m to fund increased production, hires for QSR/FSR initiatives, marketing, R&D and general working capital.

Guident completed a US$2m senior secured convertible loan note private placement on 1 May to support its planned US IPO and commercial roll‑outs.

Tekcapital also took a 51% equity stake in Vesari on 22 May for no cash consideration to pursue geothermal-powered hyperscale data-centre IP.

"With most of our core portfolio companies now publicly listed, the capital previously required to support them is being redeployed into new opportunities," said Dr Clifford Gross.

It also noted that outstanding convertible loan notes are expected to deliver substantial cash inflows over the next three years, which management says will cover operating costs and fund new investments.
