ProBiotix Health (AQSE:PBX), the AQSE-listed life sciences company developing probiotics for cardiometabolic health, has agreed a partnership with Belgium's Nutrisan to supply its patented LPLDL probiotic strain.

The strain will feature in a new standalone product under the Nutrisan PRO brand, aimed at pharmacists and healthcare professionals across Belgium.

Nutrisan, which has produced and distributed natural food supplements since 1998, selected LPLDL after evaluating clinically substantiated cardiometabolic ingredients, citing its peer-reviewed evidence on cholesterol support and its distinct mechanism of action.

Under the deal, ProBiotix will supply the finished formulation while Nutrisan handles packaging, branding and marketing, including scientific training for pharmacists, continuing education and digital campaigns through its newly launched webshop.

The product will be sold as a 60-capsule pack targeting healthy cholesterol metabolism.

The agreement marks ProBiotix's entry into Belgium, where cardiovascular disease accounts for roughly 28% of deaths and roughly half the adult population has elevated cholesterol, according to figures cited in the announcement.

"Belgium is a growing market for ProBiotix, and we see plenty of opportunity to drive further revenue in the country," said Steen Andersen, chief executive of ProBiotix Health.

Nutrisan chief executive Jan De Backer said LPLDL's mechanism via the gut microbiome "represents a new generation of probiotics" aligned with the company's preventive health strategy.

The tie-up extends ProBiotix's European footprint as it continues targeting healthcare professional channels through premium nutraceutical partners.

News Intelligence what this means for the company

ProBiotix has signed a supply agreement with Belgian nutraceutical firm Nutrisan to provide its LPLDL probiotic strain for a new standalone product targeting pharmacists and healthcare professionals. The deal marks ProBiotix's entry into Belgium, a market where cardiovascular disease accounts for roughly 28% of deaths and roughly half the adult population has elevated cholesterol—positioning the partnership in a region with high cardiometabolic need. Nutrisan will handle manufacturing, packaging, branding and marketing, including pharmacist training and digital campaigns through its webshop.

Investment case

This is a channel-expansion play rather than a revenue inflection: ProBiotix continues its model of licensing LPLDL to established nutraceutical partners in European markets with cardiovascular risk, but the deal itself carries no disclosed financial terms, volume commitments, or exclusivity scope. The partnership extends geographic reach and validates clinical positioning, but without revenue guidance or partner scale metrics, the material impact on ProBiotix's near-term financials remains opaque.
