Pantheon Resources (AIM:PANR) told the Alaska House Finance Committee last week that its Kodiak and Ahpun projects on the North Slope can supply low‑CO2 natural gas to the proposed AK LNG pipeline.

The company gave invited testimony during the Legislature's Governor‑sponsored Special Session on a tax relief package for the AK LNG Project, joining ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips and Hilcorp as proposed gas suppliers to the pipeline being pursued by The Glenfarne Group and the State of Alaska.

Pantheon emphasised the advantageous low CO2 composition of its gas and said it can offer volumes at a relatively low price to improve the economics of Phase 1, which is intended to provide lower‑cost gas to Southcentral Alaska amid an emerging supply shortfall.

Separately, Pantheon confirmed its farm‑out initiatives remain underway with multiple parties in the data room, that due diligence is complex and ongoing, and that progress is being made with an update to the market anticipated before the end of summer.
