Nativo Resources confirms bonanza-grade gold at Bonanza Vein with peak assay of 40.2 g/t

High-grade underground sampling at the Bonanza Gold Mine in Peru has returned a peak result of 40.2 g/t Au, with the company restarting mining development and targeting production by mid-2026.

Nativo Resources plc (LON:NTVO) (LON: NTVO) said underground sampling at the Bonanza Vein, including the Tesoro Shaft area, returned a peak assay of 40.2 g/t Au and multiple high‑grade intercepts (>5-10 g/t Au), reinforcing its plan to target narrow, high‑grade shoots with selective underground mining.

The company told investors that mining development has restarted, and results will be integrated into ongoing mine planning.

Nativo's campaign collected 147 systematic underground channel samples during January 2026 from depths ranging between 5m and 45m beneath the surface, the filing said, and complements historical underground assays of 41.42 g/t, 27.7 g/t, 26.7 g/t and 13.1 g/t Au that the directors say demonstrate grade continuity.

Geological interpretation in the filing describes the Bonanza Vein as a narrow, structurally controlled system with localised high‑grade dilation zones. The company said geophysical data from St Elias studies (2009–2010) indicate mineralised shoots may extend to approximately 300 metres below surface, leaving "significant exploration upside" along strike and at depth.

The filing notes gold occurs predominantly in the fine fraction, which "may reduce metallurgical risk" by allowing standard processing routes, and that the Tesoro Shaft is a priority development target as the firm follows the interpreted down‑plunge continuation of mineralisation.

Nativo plans to begin production and ore sales in Q2 2026 and to develop a preliminary mineral resource estimate and metallurgical studies as results are integrated into the 3D geological model.

Stephen Birrell, Chief Executive Officer, said the results "reinforce our confidence in the geological potential of the Bonanza Gold Mine."

The recap

• Peak underground assay 40.2 g/t Au from 2026 sampling; 147 channel samples collected in January 2026.

• Multiple intercepts above 5-10 g/t Au and historical highs to 41.42 g/t indicate grade continuity.

• Company plans to commence production and ore sales in Q2 2026 and to integrate results into updated mine planning.
