BSF Enterprise (LSE:BSFA), through its subsidiary Lab‑Grown Leather, has appointed Paris auction house Giquello SAS to auction the world's first T‑Rex Leather™ handbag at Drouot on 11 June.

The one‑off Enfin Leve design, made from reconstructed dinosaur collagen and produced without harming animals, made its public debut at the Art Zoo in Amsterdam on 2 April, and VML Paris will lead promotion around Giquello's Tentation°4 sale, with BSF developing lab‑grown tissues and cultivated leather via its ATEP™ platform.

"The auction of the world's first T‑Rex Leather product in Paris is a watershed moment for our Company and our shareholders, and by partnering with Giquello we are introducing a new asset class to the luxury market," said Dr Che Connon, CEO.

BSF described the sale as a commercial proof of concept for its ATEP™ platform and said further details of the auction and related promotional activity will be announced in due course.
