GenIP (AIM:TEK), the AIM-listed provider of AI-driven services helping research organisations and corporations commercialise their innovations, has secured a batch of new and recurring contracts, worth a combined $87,000.

The largest came from Universidad Autónoma de Chile, a long-standing customer, which ordered a further 25 Invention Evaluator reports and invited GenIP to join its Technical Advisory Committee.

GenIP also won a repeat order for 20 reports from an existing Chilean university customer and a new contract for 15 reports with another Chilean research university holding a portfolio of roughly 500 technologies, marking its third customer in the country.

In the UK, a research university reengaged GenIP for 12 further Invention Evaluator reports, its second commission after an initial order of 10 last year.

In North America, one of the region's leading research universities continues to purchase reports on a near bi-weekly basis, underscoring recurring demand from established institutional clients.

GenIP also secured a new Talent Search engagement, a service line beyond its core technology evaluation offering, with several further opportunities under discussion.

"The strengthening of our relationship with Universidad Autónoma de Chile, alongside new customer wins in the region, highlights the opportunity for further growth in Latin America," said chief executive Melissa Cruz.

She added that repeat UK and North American engagements demonstrate the potential for long-term recurring revenue, alongside "early success" in the Talent Search offering.

News Intelligence what this means for the company

GenIP secured $87,000 in new and repeat contracts across Chile, the UK, and North America, anchored by a repeat order from long-standing customer Universidad Autónoma de Chile and a new Talent Search engagement. The wins underscore recurring demand from institutional clients, but the contract value is modest relative to the company's capital base—the $87,000 total is one-quarter of the £350,000 raised in the May 2026 placing, and the company has not disclosed revenue or cash position, making it difficult to assess materiality.

Investment case

The contracts reinforce GenIP's ability to win repeat business and expand geographically, particularly in Latin America, and signal early traction in Talent Search beyond its core Invention Evaluator offering. However, without disclosed revenue or cash burn, the significance of $87,000 in annual contract value remains unclear; the company's near-term focus remains the Q4 2026 SaaS platform commercial launch, which will be the material test of its scaling model.
