Journeo (LSE:JNEO) said CFDS has been awarded the work to design and install complex, cyber‑secure systems to protect critical utility assets under a five‑year framework agreement.
Journeo, an intelligent systems provider for transport networks and critical national infrastructure, said the contracts draw on CFDS’s specialist expertise to support the resilience and integrity of the utility's operations.
The Group noted it has invested over £8 million in research and development in the last four years to develop IoT‑enabled, open‑standards products and field‑proven engineering that underpin its infrastructure protection capability.
"We are delighted to have secured £1.0 million of contracts under this five-year framework agreement, further demonstrating the confidence that major utilities place in the Group's ability to deliver robust and innovative solutions for critical national infrastructure," Russ Singleton, Chief Executive Officer, said.
Work has already commenced and is expected to complete in 2026.
