Abingdon Health (AIM:ABDX), the York‑based developer and manufacturer of rapid diagnostic tests and med‑tech, has been appointed legal manufacturer and CDMO by 4TEEN4 Pharmaceuticals to develop DPP3 InvoSelect, a lateral‑flow companion diagnostic to identify patients most likely to benefit from invobenitug (procizumab, AK1967).

Abingdon says the project combines its lateral flow development, regulatory strategy and scale manufacturing to produce a point‑of‑care test with a customised reader capable of clear quantification of circulating DPP3 (cDPP3).

The partnership is structured as a synchronised co‑development where every CDx milestone is matched to the drug's clinical timeline, with Abingdon responsible for technical design, regulatory engagement and manufacturing for global distribution.

"Companion diagnostics that are tightly co‑developed alongside a therapeutic aren't just a technical challenge; they represent a genuine opportunity to change patient outcomes," Chris Yates, Chief Commercial Officer at Abingdon Health plc.

4TEEN4, a German biopharmaceutical developing a first‑in‑class antibody therapy for cardiogenic and septic shock, said Abingdon's technical expertise and regulatory support have materially advanced the companion diagnostic project.

The collaboration was first disclosed by Abingdon Health on 12 June 2025 and the companies say development will continue in step with the therapeutic's clinical programme.
