Mpac Group (AIM:MPAC) on Monday announced that Andrew Kitchingman will step down as Chair and from the board following the conclusion of its 2027 annual general meeting, expected in May 2027.

David Squires, currently a non-executive director at the AIM-listed designer and manufacturer of automated handling and assembly equipment, will succeed him as Chair.

Kitchingman has served as a non-executive director of Mpac for 10 years, including eight as Chair, a tenure spanning the board during which the company has pursued its automation and contract manufacturing strategy across the UK and Europe.

"His leadership as chair in particular has been instrumental in guiding the Group, and his commitment, insight and support have been greatly valued," said chief executive Adam Holland.

Kitchingman said he looked forward to "working closely with David over the coming months to effect an orderly handover."
