Made Tech Group (AIM:MTEC) reported revenue up 27% to £58.9m for the year ended 31 May, with adjusted EBITDA rising 69% to £5.9m.

The AIM-listed provider of digital, data and technology services to the UK public sector lifted its adjusted EBITDA margin from 7.5% to 10.0%, while profit before tax more than doubled to £4.7m from £2m.

Cash stood at £14.5m at year-end, with the group carrying no debt.

Sales bookings totalled £50.7m in the year, down from an "exceptional" £81.3m in FY25, though bookings strengthened in the second half.

Contracted backlog closed the year at £83.5m.

Made Tech built its FY26 growth on multi-year public sector contracts, including a £19m appointment as the Government Digital Service's Strategic IT and Security Delivery Partner, and delivery of nationally significant digital services such as the Reception Baseline Assessment for English schools and the redesigned Met Office weather app, which won Best Public Sector Project at the National Technology Awards 2026.

"This demonstrates the operating leverage in the business as we continue to scale," said chief executive Rory MacDonald.

Since the year-end, Made Tech secured the largest contract award in its history, pushing contracted backlog to approximately £115m as at 31 July, prompting the board to upgrade its FY27 revenue guidance to £63m-£66m and adjusted EBITDA guidance to £6.3m-£6.6m.

MacDonald said the group enters FY27 "with confidence and a clear ambition to continue to build a larger, more resilient and higher-quality business."
