Kelso Group Holdings (LSE:KLSO) announced it intends to raise new equity equal to 5% of its issued share capital by way of a placing and subscription at a price of 3.0p per share, generating gross proceeds of c.£650,000.

The company, a main market investment vehicle that holds a concentrated portfolio of fewer than ten UK‑listed companies, said the proceeds will be used to expand its current investment portfolio into identified opportunities, which the board believes will improve the balance of risk versus reward.

The placing will issue new shares equal to 5% of existing capital (approximately 21.7m shares on the company’s stated proceeds), representing roughly 4.8% of enlarged share capital, and is at a price above Kelso’s estimated NAV of c.2.7p per share as at close of business on 11 May after reported unrealised pre‑tax profits of c.£2.3m and NAV growth of over 17% in 2026 to date, with the board holding approximately 17% of the company.
