Jangada Mines on Tuesday reported new bonanza-grade gold grab samples from its Molly Gold Project, with results at the Vivi target reaching 151.23 g/t gold and at Molly 2 reaching 370.41 g/t gold.
The AIM-listed, Brazil-focused mineral explorer is advancing Molly, in the Tapajós Province of northern Brazil, where Phase 1 drilling has already validated an inferred resource of 130,000 ounces of gold at Molly 1 and identified the Vivi target roughly 800 metres west of Molly 2.
A multi-target grab sampling programme has now returned results from Vivi, Molly 2 and two newly identified targets, Jane and Esmeril.
At Vivi, samples graded 151.23 g/t, 112.45 g/t, 49.93 g/t and 39.74 g/t gold, following the previously reported peak of 306.23 g/t gold alongside 166.00 g/t silver, 2.19% lead and 1.12% zinc.
Across the Vivi programme, three samples exceeded 100 g/t gold, four exceeded 40 g/t, 10 exceeded 10 g/t and 19 exceeded 1.0 g/t.
Mapping and sampling at Vivi identified a cluster of at least seven mineralised veins across approximately 1 square kilometre, with the extent of individual veins still to be determined.
At Molly 2, new grab samples returned 370.41 g/t gold with 148.00 g/t silver, and 241.30 g/t gold with 57.50 g/t silver, confirming multiple mineralised zones with varying orientations and dips within the target.
The Jane and Esmeril targets, identified west of Vivi through evidence of artisanal mining, returned top grades of 26.56 g/t and 15.16 g/t gold respectively, though work there remains preliminary.
Exceeding expectations
"The latest results from the Molly Gold Project have exceeded our expectations, delivering further bonanza-grade gold mineralisation and reinforcing the project's exceptional potential as a multi-target, polymetallic system," said chief executive Paulo Misk.

Misk said the company has now identified seven prospective target areas across the project: Molly 1, Molly 2, Vivi, Jane, Esmeril, Boomerang South and Eastpot, with the 5km-strike Boomerang area still barely explored.
He added that interpretation of the completed drone magnetic and induced polarisation surveys is nearing completion, aeromagnetic results are expected shortly, and the company's funded Phase 2 drilling campaign, which began in June with a 10-hole diamond drilling campaign and geophysical surveys across Boomerang, Molly 1, Molly 2 and Vivi, is also nearing completion.
A second grab sampling programme is under way across Vivi, Molly 2, Boomerang South and Eastpot, with further assays pending, alongside 54 outstanding results from a six-channel sampling programme at Vivi and 26 further grab samples awaiting external laboratory analysis.
