Talisman Metals (LSE:TLM) collected seven channel samples totalling 23m, 38 trench samples including five QAQC samples, and three grab samples from the Tirzzit Project and has dispatched the material for assaying.

The Tirzzit Project is a sediment‑hosted stratiform copper‑silver system 225km east of Agadir comprising two mining licences covering 16.5km2, acquired from a subsidiary of Aya Silver & Gold (Aya is a 4.7% Talisman shareholder), and the company is reviewing BRPM historical reports and geophysics.

"Tirzzit is a great opportunity for Talisman, and we deployed the team for a quick sampling foray to test obvious mineralisation targets," said Tim McCutcheon, CEO.

Initial fieldwork focused on testing lateral continuity, confirming historical Cu and grades and locating thicker intervals along an initial 700m of strike targeting a 1-5m horizon with malachite at surface within the broader 4.6km trend.

Historic BRPM drilling reported intersections including 3.16% Cu over 2.5m and 0.60% Cu over 11.4m, which Talisman says are being reviewed to inform follow‑up work.

Next phases will extend channel sampling west to east across licences LE393478 to LE393507, sample BRPM adits and gossans, infill stream sediments and prepare a drill programme to retarget historical short holes and test open extensions, with exploration planned to commence in the second half of 2026 while transfer of the licences is processed.
