Deltic Energy (AIM:DELT) said Capricorn Energy, Petrogas International E&P Coöperatief U.A. (a subsidiary of Mohammed Al Barwani LLC) and Blue Concept Hld AS have each separately approached the company regarding possible cash offers for the entire issued and to be issued ordinary share capital.

The announcement noted that an offer period has commenced. The company warned there can be no certainty that any discussions will result in an offer, and each potential offeror must either announce a firm intention to make an offer under Rule 2.7 or state it does not intend to make an offer by 5:00pm on 20 May unless the Takeover Panel consents to an extension.
