Poolbeg Pharma (AIM:POLB), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on cancer immunotherapy, will present data on POLB 001 at the European Hematology Association Congress in Stockholm on 11-14 June.
The abstract, available online, summarises in vivo models showing POLB 001 reduces multiple CRS-related cytokines including TNF, IFNγ and IL-6, and in vitro data showing inhibition of cytokine production without impairing bispecific antibody-induced tumour cell killing.
"The findings highlight the potential of POLB 001 to reduce key drivers of CRS while preserving anti-tumour activity," said Liam Tremble, Principal Scientist.
The poster, titled "POLB 001, an oral P38 MAPK Inhibitor for the Prevention of Cytokine Release Syndrome" (abstract code PS1845), will be shown in Poster Session 2 on Saturday 13 June at 18:45-19:45 CEST at Stockholmsmässan.
