Gana Media Group plc (LSE:MOS)'s wholly owned Mexican media content subsidiary, Estadio Deportes, has entered a "Boxing Digital Broadcasting Rights" agreement with Izquierdazo Boxeo, a leading Mexican boxing promoter, to broadcast a minimum of one event per month across Estadio Deportes' digital platforms in line with Izquierdazo's regular event schedule.

The rights cover promotion, dissemination and digital broadcasting of Izquierdazo-organised events as part of a push to grow the boxing audience across Mexico. The alliance's launch saw Estadio Deportes stream its first card on 11 April, held in Monterrey, Nuevo León, in collaboration with Prime Boxing Promotion; the show featured eight professional bouts.

The announcement gives Estadio Deportes recurring content and live sports inventory in a key Latin American market; no financial terms, exclusivity or contract duration were disclosed in the release.

"The agreement further strengthens Gana Media Group's strategic positioning within Latin America, reinforcing its ability to operate across both media and gaming verticals." — Mark Epstein, CEO of Gana Media Group.
