ZOO Digital guides H1 revenue above $23m, beating last year's tallies

ZOO Digital Group (LSE:ZOO) told investors ahead of today's Annual General Meeting that it expects first-half revenue for FY27 of at least $23.0 million, an increase on both the first and second halves of FY26, and in line with management expectations.

The AIM-listed tech-enabled localisation and digital media services provider, whose customers include Disney, NBCUniversal, Netflix and Paramount Skydance, said the guidance reflects rising activity across Media Services and Subtitling work.

Chair Nathalie Schwarz said growth in FY27 to date has been driven predominantly by localisation of existing content rather than new productions, work she described as "typically one-off in nature" but demonstrating "the flexibility of ZOO's customer-led 'end to end' offering".

Schwarz added that the group is "starting to see emerging indications of an increase in the pipeline of original content", which management expects to contribute to revenue in the second half of FY27.

The update follows ZOO's full-year results to 31 March, in which revenue fell 15% to $42.3 million but Adjusted EBITDA rose to $4.0 million from $1.1 million after a completed restructuring programme, with management at the time citing strong first-quarter FY27 trading.

Separately, Mickey Kalifa stood down from the board at the AGM after nine years, succeeded as Audit Committee Chair by Alan Newman, with the search for a further independent director and Remuneration Committee Chair Designate ongoing.
